I'm so sorry to hear of Beth's passing. She was such a beautiful and creative spirit.
I'm sure Laura was waiting for her at Heaven's gates. I still miss Laura every day.

Beth was the greatest colleague in the NYCDOE that I ever worked with. We become great friends quickly and not only shared a classroom space together but we shared knowledge, lots of laughter, and the never-ending desire to try and make sense of it all.
Beth was intelligent, talented, warm, kind, caring, and hysterically funny. It is so hard to believe that she is no longer with us.
I am eternally grateful to her for teaching me so much about the world of art in such a short time. She was the master artist. I was just the willing apprentice. She passed on skills that I can use personally and professionally for years to come.
Beth taught with love and laughter and created works of genuine art with her students. Art work that they never realized they were capable of until Beth came along and showed them how. Her loving, skillful hands, her tremendous heart, and her definitive talent, truly affected many lives in NYCDOE.
Beth leaves behind much more than paintings on canvas. She leaves behind paintings on people's hearts.
