Working with Beth at Fire & Ice was truly a pleasure. I would visit stores and flip them upside down. Beth was one of the very few people that welcomed my creativity with open arms and an open mind. She was always squinting when she worked. Our joke was that she needed to put on her reading glasses.
Unfortunately her location of Fire & Ice closed but while we worked side by side closing that location, she had a true light about her. We, the remaining staff at the Montgomery Mall Fire & Ice, celebrated the final weeks of being together by frequenting California Pizza Kitchen and their drink specials. Often.
Beth will be truly missed and I will always remember the time we worked, side by side, at Fire & Ice.

My dear friend. I will always and forever thank you for being my friend. I will always remember your laugh and the way you squinted your eyes.
Because I know the loss is greater for us than it is for you because now you will be in peace and in a better place. I wish your family a great love in God's blessings. I'm sure that we will see each other again my friend. Godspeed.

I remember the evening I first met Beth. A very chilly night at dinner somewhere on the Rockville Pike. Neil introduced her and I still remember her smile, laughter and wonderful sense of humor. What a sweet and kind person we have lost. My thoughts and prayers are with Beth, Neil, and all her friends and family. Farewell. I pray we shall meet again. Until then, may the light of Heaven always shine upon you.

I love you Beth. I miss you already. The moment I met you I fell in love. You had such a warm light in your adorable crescent moon green kitty cat eyes. I can't seem to stop crying for you. I know you would tell me such kind things about me and lift me up. I am so sorry. Rest in peace dear Beth.

Beth,
The love cousins develop while growing up together, is as close as that of siblings. I treasured our times together, I valued your wisdom, and I always looked forward to our next visit or conversation.
Your smile and laughter are enlightening and contagious. You touch the hearts of everyone who knows you. You're an amazing person with so many wonderful qualities.
Knowing how deeply I feel the loss in losing you, I can imagine just how much more so your children, the rest of our family, and especially your mom, my aunt all mourn just as much, if not more deeply, for you, as they all have been right there with you for many years. One regret, I didn't visit more. But we did keep in touch and for that I am grateful.
I will miss your voice and your laughter.
Aunt Rose, Jill, Larry...
I love you more than you could possibly know. My heart is with you everyday and especially during this loss, as distance means nothing when family can use the strength, support and love of each other.
Prayers for peace and healing, though we may never get over the loss of someone so special and close to our hearts. I pray we learn to live on with her memories, never to forget, and always sharing stories to keep her alive in all of our days.
Neil..
From Widow to Widower... you will never live a day without her. She may no longer be with us physically, but you will find she will be with you in other ways. Just know she will be watching over you and the kids. I pray you pass quickly though anger and resentment. Though they are part of the grieving cycle, I pray you don't get lost on your way to peace and understanding, as I did.
And for Lauren and Adam...
I pray you always remember how much your mom loves you and keep her close. I pray you never stop laughing, for your laugh will keep her's alive. And be good to your dad, he's hurting too.
I've gotten a bit long-winded, sorry. Sometimes I feel He's speaking through me. The words just pour out. I did go back and shorten this a bit... lol, believe it ot not.
I love all of you. I am so sorry I wasn't there. I'm so sorry I can't be there tomorrow.
So, I will say my goodbyes here. Goodbye Beth. I will see you again. Until then, I'll be thinking of with you. Love and miss you cousin!
Love, prayers, hugs and peace!
