Ms. Berniece was like a second mother to me. I worked for her and Mr. Algie at Estill Insurance Agency for one year in 1970, after I graduated from High School and before I went off to college and I loved every minute of being there. Mr. Algie and Ms. Berniece were two of the sweetest, caring, happy and loving people I have ever known. Still miss them to this day.

Our family was so saddened to learn of Mrs. Solomon's passing as she was loved by us and shared with us through Lucie, Doc, Cy, Paul, Betsy and Bunny. May you all find comfort in the wonderful, happy memories of her life and love and know that we will all be together again one day! Moma (Frankie) and Lucie are part of Heaven's welcoming committee ---both with that fuscia pink lipstick leaving kisses on every check and now Lucie's own mother is with her, too. We love you all and you remain in our prayers!

Miss Berniece and Mr. Algie will always be special to me. When I graduated from High School, I worked for them at the Insurance Agency until I left a year later to go to school in Columbia. They were like my second parents. There was always laughter in the office. Ms. Berniece was a good friend to my Mom also and I will never forget that. The world has lost an amazing woman and heaven has gained another angel.

My deepest sympathy, love, and prayers go out to Algie, Lillian, Betty, and all of the immediate families. Berneice has always held a special place in my heart, and I will miss her terribly. I have always enjoyed going to see her when I visit Dad and Mom (Charles and LaTrelle Davis). She always opened up her home to me and my family. She always made us feel welcome there. I feel blessed to be a part of the same family as Berneice. She is a very special lady to my family. GOD has called a very special angel home to be with HIM!! She will truly be missed on this earth by all!!!!
