Charleston - Bernadine Read Glenn, 97, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Born July 21, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Hazel Bennett and Charles Read. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Thomas, along with extended family and friends.
A Graveside Funeral Service for Bernadine Read Glenn will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2026 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, James Island. The service will be conducted by Rev. John Peters of Grace Point Church.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

I remember my aunt Bernadine as a singer in New York. She had a beautiful voice. She sang and traveled with the Fred Waring Orchestra. She was a lovely lady who was very talented and beautiful.
