My heart is deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Gendelman´s passing. He was the pediatrician of both of our children and always treated them and our family with kindness, respect and humor. His unsurpassed intelligence and intuition are fondly and often recalled in our family. We feel honored to have raised our children with the help (when needed) of this great man. Rest In Peace, you will be deeply missed and you have left a Dr. Gendelman shaped hole in our hearts.

Both Dr Gendelman and Dr Rosen were wonderful and caring pediatricians to our three sons, Stephen, John and Tommy. Even when complicated issues happened they could always put this mom (who is also a registered nurse) at ease. Our boys loved them and always knew they were being taken care of well. When our sons, who are in their mid 30's now, were finishing college we were kindly told that it probably was time for them to have a Family Practice Physician instead of Pediatricians. We reluctantly agreed. Our family will always remember their kindness, professionalism, brilliance, sense of humor, comfort and caring.

I first met Dr Gentleman back in Aug 1968. He and Dr Jack Gold were the 2 doctors in the office on hwy 68. Dr Gold was my pediatrician, but saw BOTH of them when in the hospital. My son was born in 1982 and I had Dr Gendlman as his pediatrician. Always wonderful experiences with Dr Gendelman. Both as child and as parent. I talked ALOT and he and Dr Gold referred to me as "Motor Mouth". I will always think of him with fond memories when I hear that! He will be missed. RIP sir. Tell my son hello when you get to heaven!

I had given birth to my first born and hadn't picked a pediatrician. Dr. Gendelman was on duty at the hospital is how our relationship started. I had two more children. Dr. Gendelman was always up for my kids shenanigans playing hide and seek under the exam table. He had to finally tell us to find another doctor when my 2 oldest were late teenagers! My condolences to his family. RIP Dr Gendelman.

My deepest condolences to Dr. Gendelman's family and loved ones. He was pediatrician to both my sons (now nearly 21 and 18) until he retired, and he meant so much to me as a new mom. When your kids are small, you see your pediatrician way more often than once a year. I trusted his wisdom and patient, sensible outlook. I will always remember the stories he told me about being a picky eater as a kid, and how I could and should relax about those issues (and many others!) as they almost always work themselves out. He was right. I will always remember the way he entered the exam room during an appointment . . . crinkling a little plastic cup and hiding behind the door with a silly grin, always engaging the small kids and piquing their interest, putting them at ease before he even entered the room. He was kind and funny and soft spoken, and they loved him, as did I. May he Rest In Peace after making a difference in so many people's lives.
