Our heartfelt sympathy is with you. Many of us in the Seacoast Artist Guild had contact with Bari at the Cultural Council. She was kind and helpful, with a quick smile. A very nice person. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Eric and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Bari was a sweetheart to me always and I will miss her very much. I always loved our talks and her telling me to wear my "bling" as she too liked "bling"! You will be in thoughts and prayers.

I am very sorry to learn of this loss. Among the many connections between Bari and my parents was the fact that Bari thoughtfully took numerous opportunities to email my dad. He delighted in getting an email, even when it was just to say hello.

Having known Bari since the 70's, I know her passion for the arts was strong as an ox! Her influence in Florence and Myrtle Beach will be long felt. I remember working with Bari at The Florence Little Theater and interviewing her on radio and TV over the years, and there was only one thing she loved more than dance, and that was her family. Prayers to all of you.

Dear Robin and family,
Your dear mother did so much to make our high school years successful and memorable. She helped launch us all into the world as confident young adults. With her help, we learned to work hard for our goals and try new things, even when they seemed a little risky. I will always be grateful for her sacrifice of her time and talent.

What a talented lady! Bari was so patient with me ( a non-dancer) when I had to do some solo singing and dancing in "Brigadoon" at the Florence Little Theater. This was thirty years ago, but I will never forget her kindness. Jane Dias

In my time at the Cultural Council, Bari was a mentor, an invaluable institutional memory -- but most of all she was like a proxy for my mother, who lived far away. Her sometimes gruff voice hid a sweet, warm, loving person. We struggled together. We laughed together. I'll miss her dearly. Randy Gerber
