Rest In Peace, M'Lady.

Remembering this lovely lady during our high school days at St. Albans High School. My condolences to Les and all family members. May Barbara Rest In Peace, is my prayer.

Les, Janice and I are so sorry to hear of Barbara's Passing. She was a special person to so many people and a loving caring spouse to you during good times and bad. Her beautiful smile and kind nature will be missed by all of us. We just found out this past week as neighbor John told us.

I was in Atlanta when I heard about Barbara. She was beautiful inside and out. Out paths crossed only on the golf cart, station 22 or basketball games. But one morning we had coffee together and our friendship was sealed. I always loved seeing y'all and we were so glad to catch up with each other. Her smile says it all. what a true beautiful heart she had . M y sympathy to all of you

Barbara was always a true friend from the very first time I met her as a board member of Faculty Wives at The Citadel in the early 70's. Always a kind word, a voice of support, and one who not only did kind deeds for others but one who never forgot the kindnesses of others. I feel such a sense of deep loss with her passing as does my husband Jamie W. My only wish would have been to as a voice of support as she went through the many transitions prior to reaching a more restful place.

I have never known anyone who worked harder and contributed more to the welfare and uplifting of spirit through her compassion and warm rays of sunshine which she shared with so many.

To each member of her family we send our deepest sympathy at this time and for every day going forward for your precious and irreplaceable loss.

We all loved Barbara! Her selflessness, warmth of character, and humility made her such an amazing person. It was an exceptional honor to be her friend. She made everyone around her feel special and like family. So many lives were lifted by her optimism, insight, and concern for others.

Catherine had cranial surgery on Monday and we will be unable to pay our respects but please know all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. David is out of town and he too will not be there.

Heaven has become even brighter as it welcomes Barbara. Her friends at North Carolina State remember her outgoing personality, her beautiful smile, her caring for others and her support of the Wolfpack. She was a great lady and will be missed by all. We cannot imagine Citadel football or basketball events without Barbara's bright and welcoming smile and sincere interest in each person she met. She was such a joy to know and to have as a friend. We made her rumaki recipe just a few days ago, and I always think of how she called Barbara to verify the ingredients when we were making it here in the mountains a few years ago! /That day, it was written in the front cover of a cookbook, with Barbara's name beside it! There were many happy gatherings at Station 22....and at your beautiful new home...and all the love she had for her family was brought out in every conversation. Les, you chose very wisely years ago, and we thank you for sharing this spectacular lady with us all these years. We feel and share your great loss, but what a privilege to have been your friends.

I'm so sad to hear of Barbara's passing. She and I were roommates at Marshall University back in 1960.
I have many great memories of the fun times we had and loved every minute of it.

I just learned of this sadness today. I regret even more that I was unable to make contact last Spring to say hello. I remember Barbara as the sweetest lady I ever met. Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to the entire Robinson family. Teresa and I were so saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her was immediately touched by her caring nature. I think fondly of the times I would see her prior to games at NC State...always with that beautiful smile on her face. No matter how long it had been since I last saw her, it was like we had spoken just the day before. Barbara was truly a very special person and will be missed by all the knew her.

I only met Barbara 1 time in South Carolina when we were celebrating Todd Harlicka's Birthday. Les and Barbara were very nice, friendly and welcoming. I am so sorry I did not get another chance to meet with her. Prayers are being sent for Les and the family.

Barbara was a wonderful lady who I had the pleasure of first meeting as the trainer for The Citadel Basketball Team from 1973 to 1976. She was always a gracious, concerned and caring lady and I always enjoyed being around her. She and Les opened their home to small team reunions and I was always honored to be invited to her home where she served great food and even greater hospitality. Heaven is a little brighter with her presence but many of us feel a great loss. Ann and my prayers are with you Les, Greg, Robbie, Kelly and Barbara Ann.

As a former referee yes Barbara was at every game that I refereed that Les was the Coach.A few games when the weather called snow when they were at ETSU she would give me up date on the road conditions and 100% right all the time.She would say "Jimmy you will not make it home tonight ".

Barbara always took a back seat to Les to his story telling and I am sure she enjoyed those stories many times.Rest in peace and you will be missed on The Island.
