Barbara Fabian Powell HANAHAN - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 13, 2010, Barbara F. Powell, wife of Bert H. Powell residence, Hanahan, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Bert H. Powell are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter Monday August 16, 2010, in The Church of the Good Shepherd at Four O'clock. Interment following will be in Riverview Memorial Park. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL (2180 Greenridge Rd.) Sunday, between Five and Seven O 'clock. Mrs. Powell was born February 21, 1938, in Charleston, South Carolina, the daughter of the late George W. Fabian and Eunice Lynes Fabian. She attended the University of South Carolina. She was a homemaker and a past member of Parents without Partners. Barbara Powell is survived by her husband of Hanahan, SC, son David R. Moorer, IV, Hanahan, SC, two daughters; Teresa Powell Hilton, Charleston, SC and Marsha Lynn Powell, also of Charleston, SC, a sister, Betty F. Bentley (Pat) of Summerville, six grandchildren: Cade Aloisi, Courtney Aloisi, Connor Aloisi, Michelle Lovins, Phillip Amerson and Ashley A. Wheeler, a sister in law Lolly Fabian, Mt. Pleasant, SC, beloved nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her first husband David R. Moorer, III, her daughter Jean Elizabeth Moorer Aloisi and her brother George W.
