Barbara A. Parker-Stearn CHARLESTON - Ms. Barbara A. Parker-Stearn, May 15, 1940 - January 13, 2022. Retired Nurse Supervisor at Charleston Memorial Hospital (CMH) for 32 years. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in The Palmetto Memorial Chapel, 1122 Morrison Drive, Charleston, SC 29403. She will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. She is survived by her loving daughter, grandchildren, brother, several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Florence Parker; and four brothers. Expressions of sympathy to the family may be made online at www.palmettomortuary.com. My prayers go out to the entire Parker family. I worked in the old ER Registration at CMH back in the 60's and again in the 90's. Barbara was such a beautiful caring individual. God has taken her home to a much better place but you will always have the memories to share, something no one can ever take away from you.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Barbara. I met Barbara at Charleston Memorial Hospital early in my nursing career. We shared so many fond memories during and after I left CMH.
