Barbara Brumley Davis McDaniel MT. PLEASANT - Barbara Brumley Davis McDaniel, 82, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of Earl Tillman Davis and Robert McDaniel passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 after a long illness. The relatives and friends of Barbara McDaniel are invited to attend her funeral service at the graveside on Monday, December 29, 2014 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Barbara was born February 1, 1932 in Gainesville, Florida, daughter of the late Frank Brumley and the late Agnes McCormick Brumley. She was blessed with seven wonderful children and during her illness, she was cared for by her children. They are extremely grateful for this time they had together. She was a loving mother and spent time at the hospital rocking children and was also a foster-parent. She moved to Isle of Palms in 1958. Barbara loved to spend her time off with her children on the beach. She is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth Davis Chassereau and her husband, Floyd, of Catawba, SC, Pam Davis of Greenville, SC, Sandy Davis and her husband, Ronald, of Charleston, SC, and Cynthia Davis of Charleston, SC; two sons, Frank Davis and his wife, Susan, of Charleston, SC, and Benjie Davis and his wife, Sharon, of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren, Tara Davis, Chelsea Davis, Jonathan Davis, Michael Brandemuehl and Candice Boyd and one great-grandchild, Brandon Boyd.
