Priscilla Hinman Obituary

Priscilla Campbell Hinman N. CHARLESTON - Priscilla (Peg) Campbell Hinman was born 11 August 1936 in Cedar Falls, IA. She passed Tuesday morning, April 27, 2021, from complications from a stroke. She graduated from Manchester High School, IA, in 1955, was married October 5, 1955 in San Francisco, Hunters Point Naval Chapel, to Almon Hinman, who predeceased her. Predeceased by her father, Albert Campbell, Manchester, IA & mother, Irene Campbell, Patricia Campbell Cornish Hazelton IA, step-mother, Norma Schug Campbell, step-brothers, Meryn & Kenneth Schug. Survived by half-brother, Royce Campbell, Tulsa, OK. Four children, Larry Hinman (Charlotte), Thompson, GA; Lynn Hinman (Yongmi) , Woodbridge, VA; Eric Hinman (Sue), Oxford, NC; Karen Hinman Black, North Charleston, SC; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. In lieu of flowers, you may send donations to Advent Lutheran Church, 3347 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405 or the Alzheimer's Association. Burial will be a private (closed) ceremony with her children. We would like to thank all of the caregivers in the past that have taken great care of mom and a special thank you to everyone at her current community The Bridge at Charleston, SC.
