Barbara "Bobbie" Youmans Jarrell ESTILL, SC - Mrs. Barbara "Bobbie" Youmans Jarrell, 70, of Estill, SC, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Jarrell was born on August 17, 1943 in Estill, SC, daughter of the late John T. and Winona Youmans. She was educated in the Estill school system. After many years as a homemaker, she worked for ten years as a childcare provider at the Child Development Center of Lawtonville Baptist Church. Mrs. Jarrell was also a lifelong member of Lawtonville Baptist Church and always loved children and enjoyed her time with them. Mrs. Jarrell is survived by her loving husband, Ervin Oliver Jarrell, two daughters, Melissa (Jerry) J. Abee of High Point, NC, and Kay (Cole) J. McKinney of Rock Hill SC, two sisters, Gloria Y. Reynolds of Estill, SC and Libby Y. Smith of Norwood, NC, two brothers, Larry Youmans of Estill, SC and Don Youmans of Columbia, SC, one aunt, Peggy J. Jarrell of Estill, SC, two grandchildren, Christopher and Hannah McKinney. She was predeceased by one brother, Theodore Rhodes Youmans; one sister, Laura Y. Beatty; and a grandson, John Oliver Nix. Memorials in her honor may be made to the Food Pantry at the Lawtonville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1057, Estill, SC 29918. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11 AM at Lawtonville Baptist Church with burial following in the Lawtonville Cemetery conducted by Rev. Joseph Hester and Rev. Kristen Andreason. Friends may call at the chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton, SC (803) 943-3352 from 5 to 7 Friday evening.
