Barbara Hutton
Strafford, Missouri - Barbara E. Hutton, 83, of Strafford, Missouri, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love for her family, her work, and the natural world.
Born in 1943 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, Barbara grew up in Three Brothers, Arkansas. For 63 years, she was the devoted wife of Forrest D. Hutton. Together, they built a life and a business, with Barbara serving as the Vice President of HK&W Supply in Springfield, a family-owned company founded by her husband in 1969.
Barbara was a woman who found great joy in the simple beauties of life. She spent much of her time outdoors tending to her flowers and caring for her beloved farm animals. She had a deep affection for hummingbirds and was a dedicated caretaker to all animals, including her dog, Scooter, and her donkey, Jen. Beyond her farm, she enjoyed attending Drury girls basketball games with her family and close friends.
She is survived by her husband, Forrest; her son, David Hutton; her daughter, Pamela J. Browning; and her husband, Kerry. Her memory will also be cherished by her five grandchildren-Casey DeVaux, Kylie Sickendick, Cody Browning, Paige Hutton, and Grace Hutton -as well as her five great-grandchildren: Emma, Felix, Jane, Hugo, and little Forrest.
The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate Barbara's life. Those wishing to honor her memory may make donations to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, located at 3161 W. Norton Rd., Springfield, Missouri, 65803
