Barbara Hudgens Obituary

Barbara Hudgens Summerville - Barbara Ann (Wyrick) Hudgens went to her heavenly home on September 26, 2022. Born in Atlanta, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Henry Wyrick and Lucy Mae Wyrick. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 6 to 8 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11 o'clock at Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road, Charleston SC 29414. Flowers will be accepted. She is survived by her children, Michael Hudgens (Arlene) of Elloree, SC, Victoria Bruton (Stuart) of Florence SC, and Charles Hudgens (Diana); grandchildren, Joshua Bruton, Seth Bruton (Jana), Ashley Bruton Poston, Christopher Hudgens, Rebecca Hudgens, Michael Simmons, Maria Pompanio (Simmie), Eric Huff, Caleb Hudgens, and Colby Hudgens; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Curtis Wyrick and Harold Wyrick, and sister, Sue Rotondo. She was a member of Summerville Baptist Church, where she had many cherished friends.
