Barbara Cashman Obituary

Barbara Drake Cashman HANAHAN - Barbara Drake Cashman age 72, of Hanahan SC, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born in Charleston, SC, on April 28, 1946, to Robert E. Drake and Ruth Wanamaker Drake. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and playing Bridge. She was a member of Divine redeemer Catholic Church, Hanahan SC. She is survived by son, Paul Cashman of Hanahan, SC; daughter, Catherine Symmes of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Justin Sweat and Harrison Symmes of Mt Pleasant, SC; mother, Ruth Wanamaker Drake of North Charleston, SC; brother, Jack Drake (Chris) of Chattanooga, TN. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Drake, husband, Paul Cashman, and brother, Robert E. Drake, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday February 14, 2011, at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1106 Fort Drive Hanahan, SC 29406. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC 29406. The family is gratefully accepting floral tributes in honor of Barbara Drake Cashman, or memorials may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 269 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401-1111 FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED TO THE CARE OF CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, NORTH CHARLESTON.
