BRADFORD, Barbara Barbara Bennett Bradford, 90, of Mount Pleasant, SC, widow of William S.C. Bradford passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2009. The relatives and friends of Barbara Bradford are invited to attend a celebration of her life at Sandpiper Village on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mrs. Bradford was born January 19, 1919 in Wellsboro, PA, daughter of Claude E. Bennett and Florence VanValkenburg Bennett. She was a member of the Colonial Dames. She is survived by her two daughters, Hannah Heyward of Sullivans Island, SC and Mary Biddle of Phoenixville, PA; her son, William S.C. Bradford of Warminster, PA; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Mt. Pleasant, 1224 Village Creek Lane, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
