Avram Kronsberg Obituary

Hello, my name is Claudia Coles Hawkins Abram was my first kiss. He made me this sillly copper ring and I have kept it all these years. I spent countless hours playing at his house and he loved The Carpentwrs! Just wanted to y´all to know that as as an 8 year old he was important to me. I still have his his homemade ring.

As others have said, Avram was a true gentleman and a man who loved his family & friends very much. I know those who love him will miss him. I am glad that I knew him and I will miss him too.

Avram was a part of my fondest memories as a child when attending (McEldowney) family reunions in New Martinsville with Jane. Thanks for being you. (Bert McEldowney, Greenville)

Avram will be missed by so many people; his kind words and gentle ways helped many others. My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved him and whom he loved.

The Kronsberg Family,I am sadened by the loss of Avram ,We were such good friends.He brought me up through the ropes of the retail fishing industry.He meant a lot to me and we will mourn a great loss to our community.A legend in his time.

We have known Avram for a number of years through my cousin Jane and their son Tilghman. We have great affection for Avram and feel the loss for the family. We extend our sincere condolences to his family.

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Avram through my husband's friendship with him. He was truely loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and sadly missed. Our prayers are with you & family.

To all of the Kronsberg family, I extend my deepest sympathy on the passing of a very exquisite gentleman. I had the pleasure of knowing Avram at Rivers High School as well as his father Mr. Ed, Ms. Hattie, and Buddy. My father managed the Reynolds Ave. and the Pinehaven Edwards stores for 26 years. The entire Kronsberg family played a great part in seeing that my sister and brother and I all were able to get college degrees. This is truly a sad day for all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

Such a loss for our community. He was a lovely, gentle man. He will be sorely missed.

Edward, I am so sorry to read that Avram has passed. Although I only knew him from my visits to the tackle store he was always so pleasant and such a gentleman. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had pleasure of working for Mr. Kronsberg in the early 70's at the Edwards 5 & 10 warehouse and in various stores during the Christmas Season. He was a true "Gentleman" and will be missed by all that knew him.
