Ava Austin COLUMBIA, SC - Dr. Ava Austin, of 180 King charles Road, Columbia, SC, died suddenly, Sunday, May 2, 2010, at Dorn VA Medical Center, in Columbia, SC. In addition to her husband and father, Ava in survived by one son, Charles, Jr.; two daughters, Charnequa Austin Kennedy, Franklin, TN, Dr. Chanda Yvette Austin, Logan, Utah; one grandson (Nyanna's pride and joy), Caden Armand Kennedy of Franklin, TN; one sister, Rev. Janice Frederick-Watts, Taylors, SC; one aunt, Mrs. Edneta Conner, Florence, SC; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Austin, Greenville, SC; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Cynthia Austin Johnson, Belton, SC, Mrs. Sharon Austin Norman and Mrs. Ingrid Austin Bonner, both of Greenville; three brothers-in-law, Mr. Robert Dale Austin and Mr. Steven Bonner, both of Greenville, and Mr. Ken Johnson of Belton, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation and services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church at 185 Boulevard, NE in Orangeburg, SC.
