Ms Thomasina and family, I am so sorry to hear about Ashna's passing. I remember the years I was blessed to have her smiling face at Harvest Baptist School. I can hear her now, come on, Mrs. Gresh, that's too much to read.! But she'd come back having read the assignment, and was proud she did it! Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. I'm sure she will be missed. My prayers are with you all.

I knew Ashna for only a short time at Harvest Baptist when I was in the 7th grade. It was the hardest years of my life. My sister had passed away unexpectedly. I had one class with Ashna and she was always so kind, generous, soft spoken, and playful. She was motherly in a way and she helped take my mind off my troubles, even if only for just a moment. But I was and always will be so grateful to her for that. Her friendship was a wonderful surprise.
My heart breaks for her family and friends. I'll be praying. Rest peacefully, Ashna.
