SCHOENBERG, Arthur Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 6, 2005, Arthur Jack Schoenberg, husband of Odella Cannon Schoenberg. Residence, Charleston, SC. The funeral services were held Thursday December 8, 2005 in Beth Israel Cemetery in Beaufort, SC. Mr. Schoenberg was born August 20, 1928 in Beaufort, SC, the son of Leopold Schoenberg and Gertrude Goldberg Schoenberg. He was a 1950 graduate of The Citadel and retired as a Civil Engineer with Naval Engineering Facility Command. He belonged to Synagogue Emanu-El. He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; two daughters: Gail Cantor and her husband Gary of Philadelphia, PA and Arlene Yegelwel and her husband Evan of Jacksonville, FL; one son: Lewis Schoenberg and his wife Susan of Newton, MA; one stepdaughter: Kelly Keen and her husband Brian of Elmer, NJ; one stepson: Capt. Edward Mills and his wife Dawn of Seattle, WA; nine grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; two brothers: Melvin Schoenberg of NY,NY and Julian Schoenberg and his wife Kaylene of Greenville, SC; two sisters: Lucille Greenly of Beaufort, SC and Gwennie Bernstein of Denver, CO. He was predeceased by his first wife of 39 years, Harrit Finberg Schoenberg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Synagogue Emanu-El, 5 Windsor Drive, Charleston, SC 29407. Arrangements by J.
