Arthur Mtichell N. Charleston - The relatives and friends of Mr. Arthur Mitchell are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service 12:00 PM Monday, December 20, 2021 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 7396 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Interment- Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC. A public viewing will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the mortuary. Arthur is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen Mitchell; three daughters, Brenda Gray (Victor) of Queens, NY, Colette Mitchell of Union City, GA and Clarice Mitchell-Williams (Carl) of Brooklyn, NY; two sons, Kevin Mitchell (Linda) of Brooklyn, NY and Derrick Mitchell of Charleston, SC; one bonus daughter, Brooklynn Grant of Charleston, SC; one brother, Christopher Mitchell (Deloris) of Queens, NY; one sister, Louise Smith (Elmer) of Queens, NY; four sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law; 26 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Due to COVID-19 protocols, everyone is required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing. Expressions of love may be sent to the family at www.MurraysMortuary.com.
