Dear Hatie, Angela, John, and Katlyn,

you knew how close your son, husband and father was to me, and I will miss him more than I can express in words. He was a true friend, and as Donnell would say...."there aren't many good friends out there".

His friend and yours, always,

Steve

YOUR TIME OF SORROW

I KNOW THAT YOU ARE LOST AND LONELY

YOUR SORROW I CAN FEEL

IF ONLY THERE WERE WORDS TO HELP

YOU GET THROUGH THIS ORDEAL

I CANNOT TAKE YOUR SADNESS AWAY

BUT OFFER YOU MY PRAYER

AND PROMISE TO BE HERE FOR YOU

IN THIS TIME OF YOUR DESPAIR.

I PRAY THAT GOD WILL HELP TO HEAL

YOUR HURTING AND YOUR PAIN

AND FILL YOUR HEART VERY SOON WITH JOY

AND HAPPINESS ONCE AGAIN.
