Arlene Helen Rohl Clark MT. PLEASANT - Arlene Helen Rohl Clark, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 27, 2023. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive at 10:30 am. Entombment will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023 in Westwood Gardens and Mausoleum, Griffin, GA at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. Arlene was born July 18, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to Helen and Edward Rohl. During her years in New York, she sang on local television programs and performed with a USO Group. After she and her husband married, they moved to Charlotte, NC and then to Griffin, GA. She was president of the Griffin Junior Women's Club, a Brownie Leader, and active in the Sacred Heart School. She later moved to Gainesville, GA, where she was in the St. Michael's choir, folk group, and a cantor and soloist. She was a volunteer for the Contact Crisis telephone hot line, and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Arlene worked for 19 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. She was a representative for her department and worked with Toys for Tots. After retirement, she moved to the Charleston, SC area, where she was a member of Christ our King Catholic Church. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family and friends. Arlene met with a group every Saturday to play Rummy Cubes. She loved to read and go to the movies and enjoyed walking and entertaining. She is survived by her daughters, Darlene and husband Steven Howard, and Pamela and husband, Ronald Gasaway; her son, Henry James (Jamie) Bellingham and wife, Candy; her grandchildren, Justin and Lauren Brooks, Kristin and Gary Graham, Melanie Hope Johnston (Scotty), Parker and Lillie Bellingham, Carson Graham, and Witt Alessandro; her brother, Edward Rohl, Sr.; and her nephew, Edward Rohl, Jr. Memorials may be made to Christ Our King Church, 1149 Russell Drive, Mt.
