Ardie Carn Obituary

CARN, Ardie BOWMAN - Ardie Knight Carn, 88, of 159 Ennis Lane, Bowman, widow of George Wesley Carn, Sr., died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at The Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, August 23, 2008 at BRYANT FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with the Reverend Bob Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frankie Easterlin, Andy Easterlin, Edward Altman, Curt Ott, Edwinn Easterlin, Jonathan Easterlin and Wesley Ott. Mrs. Carn was born on December 29, 1919 in St. George a daughter of the late David Lewis and Ethel Patrick Knight. She was a graduate of St. George High School, a member of Duncan Chapel United Methodist Church and retired from the Methodist Oaks. She was predeceased by her siblings, Legare Knight, Samuel Malloy Knight and Susan Knight Padgett. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and is survived by a son, George W. (Sheryl) Carn, Jr., Bowman; two daughters, Rosalind C. (Ed) Winn, Orangeburg and Jo Jo Carn, Beaufort; grandchildren, Frank (Ann) Easterlin, Orangeburg, Andrew (Amanda) Easterlin, Raleigh, NC, Kristi C. (Curt) Ott, Bowman and LeeAnn C. (Edward) Altman, Marrietta, GA; and great-grandchildren, Edwin Easterlin, Blake La Gate, Jonathan Easterlin, Trey Easterlin, Leah Ott, Wesley Ott, Gunnar Altman and Duffy Easterlin. Memorials may be made to the Duncan Chapel Cemetery Fund, 216 Harts Road, Bowman, SC 29018 or a charity of one's choice. Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.
