Archie was my childhood friend. We played Baseball and Football, explored the woods behind his house and went hunting with BB guns. My prayers are with his loved ones and because of Christ I am assured I will see him again.

Dear Carol.....I was so sorry to hear of Archie's passing from this world to the next. i went to the Memorial Service at Northwoods Baptist.....was ovewhelmed by the service and show of love from your family, friends, Brothers and Sisters in Christ....the service moved me deeply...
At some point I need to come see you and Sara...
I met Archie back in the early 80's and he started drawing plans for me....i met his mother Sara and came to find out my Father in law(Ralph Fitts) had built the Jaudon's house in Hanahan...anyway when the good Lord put you and Archie together.....Archie went into this new world of love that was out of sight and out of mind.....Man was he in love.....I 'm not quite sure he ever came down to earth after that, close but not quite because then Miss Sara came along and he lifted of the ground again...

Anyway...I could go on for a long time but I just wanted to tell you i loved Archie and his family..I thank God for allowing our paths to cross. i would love to see you and the Sara's sometime.

In Christian Love...I remain ...Mac Watson 843-469-2860

PS...Thank you and Archie for all the chocolate you sent me this past Christmas ..mac!!!

My prayers are for peace to his loved ones who remain behind, yet who will meet him again one day...

Tho' I probably haven't seen Archie since your wedding day, I have always loved hearing about him through Gen when gathered for the family reunions. I know he will be missed. Carol and Sara, my heart bleeds for you. I can't imagine the pain, but I do know that God will heal all wounds. Be strong and trust in Him. I love you, Sister.

"Carol, am so sorry to hear about Archie. I came across a picture you sent me years ago at Xmas of you and Sara. She looked to be about two. Beautiful child. Know that you and she will be in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my husband 24 years ago, he was only 47. I can tell you that awful pain in your heart will slowly ease with time. God will give you the strength. Hug Sara for me. Sandra Schulze

Carol,
What a blessing to know that you and Sara have God to comfort and strengthen you during this time. You have blessed me so many times with your smile and joyful laugh! I prayed today that God would not take those away from you as those smiles and laughs touch so many lives. I am so sorry I did not know about this before today. I have prayed for you and Sara throughout the day. I know that He alone can comfort you and give you strength through this time in your lives. I think of you often even though we do not see each other since we teach at different schools now. I will continue to lift up you and Sara to the Lord. I am so sorry for your loss.

I answered an ad of Archie's in the paper four years ago for engineering services. I had just retired and was looking for some small projects to work on and Archie called me. This job fit me to the tee. Archie had a very efficient arrangement for the work at hand which was an outstanding trait of his. He had a loud laugh as I do and I loved that. I knew this was going to be fun. He always made me feel good when I saw him. I just loved being around him at his office. We prayed for my sister when she was very ill. I thank Archie for that. I am so, so sorry for your loss. I will miss Archie and the fun we had when I saw him.

Dear Mrs.Carol and Sara,
Sara is like my sister. Mr. Archie will be missed by everyone that had ever met him. He always had a smile on his face and he always knew how to turn everyones froun upside down. He was a great person and a great christian. I know that he is up in heaven with God and his family. Sara if you ever need a friend to talk to or just to hangout with just call at anytime.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3

I believe our Savior is putting the finishing touches on the eternal kingdom in preparation to return for his bride...and he wanted the final advice of an architect, someone to sort of "eyeball" the nearly finished product.

Archie, we will be seeing you soon

Carol,

Chuck and I both loved you and Archie very much and are deeply saddened by this tragedy. Archie always had a smile, a hug and a good word anytime we ever saw each other. When I spoke to my brother (Bruce York) about Archie, he was very saddened about the news and told me that he had played football with Archie their senior year at Hanahan and stated that Archie was a wonderful quarterback. It may not seem so right now, but with friends, family and our Christ, you will make it through this sad time. We love you and will pray for you and Sara. Love, Pam and Chuck Ashley

Archie was one of my closest friends in the late 60's and early 70's. We got separated by college, military, and a distant move to FL by me. I last saw Archie in 78 at the class reunion. I had so looked forward to seeing him this summer at the 68 reunion so we could relive some old times. Regretfully, that will not happen soon. Archie was a special person and he is walking with God. Arch, here's to "tubing" and fast times in the old Vette and RR.

Our Dear Cousin Carol, Sara and Mrs. Sara, Our hearts are broken for you all. Archie was such a part of our loud family and from the minute we met him, he fit right in. And this past family reunion, I had the pleasure of meeting you Mrs. Sara. Archie was so full of life. Always laughing and happy. He will be missed by us all.
As Christians, we do not understand Gods plan as our lives unfold. But one thing we do KNOW is that God will continue to be with us through rough times like these. I know Archie is having so much fun with his brother, father, Daddy(Uncle Bobby), Uncle Emory, Uncle Buck, Cousin David and our wonderful Aunts. It is so great to have that assurance that Archie is in heaven.

Please know we love you and are praying for you every day. And if you just need to get away, you always have an available bed here in Savannah.

Carol,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during your loss. I remember back on the time that Archie, you, Mike, Diana, Rodney and myself went White Water Rafting. Archie and Mike were so confident that they could be our guides. It was so funny whenever both Archie and Mike were the ones who fell in the water. Great times! It didn't matter what direction are lives took, whenever we saw each other, it was like old times. My prayers are with you as you face the coming days. I pray that God will put his arms of comfort around you, Sara and your family. We love you. Rodney and Sylvia Edwards

Archie was my friend and fellow business person. In the past few years we shared so many good things of life in our working together. Our testimony of how Christ changed our lives, the loss of our family members, the joy of our wife and children, the births of my grandchildren and plans we were making for the future. I spoke to him Monday moring and told him it was my time to buy lunch that we needed to meet and review our work.
I offered to share my boat with him, we would laugh and talk about what we were going to do and how many fish we would catch. We had as much fun talking about our plans to go but never did.
Archie would always greet me at his office by hollering out "Admarial on Deck, Salute me and then we would both laugh.
We spent more time enjoying our visit together than we did working.
Not long ago I went to his office, he was sitting at the table and after his normal greeting he said "you are just in time for devotion. After he prayed for everything I could possibly think to pray for, he said ok you pray. I prayed "Lord if you bless Archie's prayer that would be the best thing that could happen to all of us, amen."
I will greatly miss Archie as my friend and Christian Brother.
You as a family are in my prayers.

I am so very sorry for your loss Mrs. Carol, Ms. Sara, and Little Sara. I work at Remount Baptist Church doing their bulletin and had met Archie thorough the church and the members of the church. Archie was always kind and seemed delighted in life when calling in to the church to talk to his friends. He seemed to have a spirit of lightness and love of the Lord. I did not not Archie personally, but I see many people grieving and the many people who lives Archie touched. I pray for you daily Mrs. Carol and family, and his friends, Pastor Joe and Kathy all those miss their friend. I lift all of you up during this time. I am so sorry for your loss.
