Anthony Spearman Obituary

Tony was my son's first youth wrestling coach. He was a great person.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Family at this very sad time.

I briefly worked with Tony the last couple of months. I was truly saddened to hear of Tony's death. My sincerest sympathies to his loved ones. May God hold you close and comfort you during this difficult time.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

You will be greatly missed

Tony was my first boyfriend in High School. I was lucky enough to reconnect with him a few years ago. We had a fantastic visit when he came to California. I am so bummed that I cannot make it to the funeral! Needless to say, I have a ton of Tony stories - probably even a few that are suitable for public consumption. :) I miss him already. The world is a much duller place. When I saw Tony, he spoke mostly about how amazing his children were. He was so proud of Swain, Haley, and AJ. And he spoke of what a wonderful mother Diane was. The bright side is that Tony was and always will be "larger than life." (I never really understood that saying until just now). Thankfully, Tony left a legacy - his children, his students, his wrestlers, his inventions/innovations, his crops? (Not sure what that entails right now but the man was always planting something somewhere and riding around on a tractor). Anyway - much love to the Spearman clan! Tony will be missed.

My Prayers go out to the family. I am a co-worker and friend of Tony. We have shared many stories of our Service to the Air Force and Navy. He was a very sharp and and had a wonderful since of humor. I will miss him. We were always eager to show each other some of the new things we learned here at work. I think of him often. God Bless you All.

I had the privilege of working with Tony during the past 2 months. He always had a smile and a story. May his heart and soul be at peace now.

Tony was a wonderful man who always had a story that relevant and insightful. I will remember him as a true southern gentleman (cowboy boots and all) that had an infectious laugh and smile. I miss him and know that his legacy will live on. We miss you Tony.

Tony was one of the brightest students I ever taught. He was much more than his intellect; he was funny, kind, clever, and always endearing. I loved him for his sweetness and his loyalty to his friends. He was another blessing to this community.

It is too soon for such a vibrant life and light to end. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family. I loved knowing Tony when we are all in school. I am at a loss for words... Tony was/is a treasured friend.. and I am crippled to hear of his passing..and at a loss for words.. Tony was such a good friend to me and consoled me when my Mother passed.. He will be missed by many .. rest assured that his family is being watched over by him ..

Tony was one of the most engaging, interesting people I've ever known. We were classmates beginning in 1st grade at Summerville Elementary. He tutored me in math throughout high school. He had a precocious nature that drew people in. He will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to his children and extended family.

I am so sad to learn of Tony's passing. He is one of the most intelligent people I have ever known, if not THE most intelligent! We went to High School together and also did business together. Tony-I honestly didn't want to be the first to sign because I know how many intellectuals you knew and mine will come across as "hokey". I do know that we'll all miss you. You were one of the most brilliant and unique individuals I've ever known. I can imagine that you're networking with some amazing people right now. Rest in peace, friend.

I played football with Tony and remember him so many years in School, I have spoke with him many times on Facebook. I am very sorry for his passing I always looked for his words of Wisdom. He was a Great man.Today I shed a tear for a friend.
