I am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Skatell was such a wonderful man who smile would light up a room. I have done business there since I was young. He will be missed greatly.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Tony Skatell..Mr. Skatell did my income taxes in the late 1960's. I also have some lovely jewelry that I have purchased in his stores over the years. He was very friendly & outgoing. a wonderful business man. He will be missed. My sympathy goes out to his wife & family.

Please accept my condolences. I got my ears pierced at Skatell's on Valentine's Day when I was in the third grade. That must have been about 1976. Fifteen years later, my engagement ring came from Skatell's. In talking with my co-workers, a lot of their engagement rings came from there too. What a legacy! Thank you, Skatell family for being such a big part of our lives.

Aunt Helen, Debbie, Cindy, Beth, and Tony, I owe what I am today to Uncle Tony. From those long ago days splashing in your pool and shooting pool with him and my dad when I was a small boy, I admired Uncle Tony so much, he inspired me to join the Army because I wanted to be like my Uncle Tony. Although life has kept us apart, I thought and spoke of him often and I regret I never took the time to thank him personally. In my eyes he was and will always be my "American Hero", A " U.S. Paratrooper". My heart goes out to you, my thoughts and prays are with you during this time.
