Anthony was a beautiful soul. He gave the Orangeburg Community something it wasn't ready for. I called it the outside jungle gym, Lol! He and Dee offered healthy foods and an unmatched workout regiment. My husband and I enjoyed it. I was sadden by the news. I remember when I was ill in 2015 he made it his business to check on me. Death isn't something you go through alone although it may feel that way. Even though you will never get over the loss, the hurt you feel today will began to fade into reflections of a beautiful soul that was alive and Woke!! Sleep in Paradise

I met Anthony in 2015 when I recognize the symbol of life on the sign in front of his business in Orangeburg, South Carolina "Life 4DLiving. I began working out with him and enjoyed every minute of it. He was so full of knowledge, wisdom, kindness, generosity and love. Anthony sacrificed so much and was so passionate about helping his people through exercising, proper diet, spirituality, self-awareness and being the best person that you can be. There was not a day that I was not motivated to work out. Volunteering my time to help him and his devoted friend Dee prepare foods for health fairs was just a small token. I remember taking my lawn mower to Anthony so he could cut the grass at the building. He was such a bright light and it seems those who bring light, carry light and uplift others seem to leave us too soon. Even though it hurts so bad, I appreciate the Most High God, Mr. and Mrs. Shuler for bringing Anthony from the spiritual to the physical portal. I'm truly glad that I got to meet you, your husband and Marcus the day he had his Barrier Pusher Fitness competition where I was inducted into the club . As I tear up, I know that Anthony and I discuss that death is only a transition from One Life to another but the physical part of me hurts so bad because you just don't meet many like him. "Life is truly 4D Living:

My heart is so heavy with grief due to the loss of Anthony. He was indeed a very dear friend of mine in the Washington, DC area. Considering that he and I are both from Charleston, we maintained our hometown bond while in DC. He was a very kind hearted and loving individual, who I will never forget. His death is shocking and unsettling. I'm praying for his family and friends, as we all have a long road ahead of us. Anthony will forever live in my heart, mind, and spirit.

To the family -
Know that Anthony will be sorely missed at DOT. I, for one, will miss him saying, "Good Morning Ma'am" and me saying, "stop calling me ma'am"! (smile) He'd smile and go on. Later in the day, he would say it again and just smile...We would tease him, as we went home in the afternoon, as he walked past our bus stop as he returned to the office; saying to him that he had it made living so close to work. His smile, our conversations, his tea drinking, and his kind spirit are a few things that will forever live as Anthony holds special moments in the memories of our minds. Who he is/was and his respect for others is a direct reflection of how well he was raised. You did a great job family! We can't know God's plan for any of our lives; however, one thing is for sure; we will all meet the King someday. It is obvious that you are a very strong family. However, if you need God's strength and His comfort to get through the coming weeks, months, and years, lean on Him. And if you need anything else, please reach out to his friends. This is sudden and tragic but it isn't the end. I believe this is the beginning. This feels unfair and it may even seem, to some, unkind; yet,the Lord saw fit to release Anthony from the constrains of this world. As hard as it is, we can only trust God. Rest in peace Anthony, and may you, his family, find comfort in the precious memories that you will always hold close to your heart.
Praying for you during this difficult time,
Kennetha Marbury (DOT)
