Anne and family...

Tony (Mr. Rassulo to me for 35 years) was one of my surrogate fathers, always willing to offer me some calm advice. The image of Tony sitting in his easy chair in the Rassulo's Harrison home smoking a pipe will forever be etched in my memory.

Plus, I liked his '54 Merc in the driveway!

Best,

To all who wrote in to honor my husband Tony Rassulo, I wish to thank you all. He loved you all and you were "added" to our family as the years went by. He made everyone welcome into our home and that's why our family increased over the years. He was much more than you know, only I know what he was and you all saw it in him. He had a great time with all of you over the years and when he passed away I had the shirt on with all of you on it. I'm sure he got a kick out of that. I thank you again on the behalf of all of our family, Joe, Arlene, Shana, Jordan, Jack and Sarah. JIm's family Cindy, Sara, her husband David and of course Jessica and her Jason who will become part of our family, pretty soon... I thank you again Anne Rassulo

I can never remember Tony Rassulo being angry with anyone except those times when he saw injustice or unkindness. He was always warm and funny with a twinkle in his eye. A week before he died my last conversation with Tony began with him genuinely interested in how I was doing. He had a great heart. God bless you, Tony.

I celebrate Tony's life, for he touched so many lives with his goodness, his wisdom, and his unfailing patience. He gave so much of himself to make the world comfortable and safe for those around him, that I have no doubt that he is presently reaping the rewards for his goodness. I love you Tony.

To all who knew my father, Tony Rassulo, and held him up to the highest esteem, I thank you all for your support and messages of love sent to my mother, Anne Rassulo. My Dad died two weeks before their 60th wedding anniversary. That alone is a testament to their love for one another and for everyone who came into their lives. My father will be missed and loved always. His legacy is our love for our family and the unbending resolve to do what is right, always.

Pop, you were the best man I ever knew.
