What can I say about Anthony? He was a good person, a WONDERFUL father, and I'm proud to say--a great friend. He treated me well even when I wasn't so nice to him but that's the kind of friendship we had. We'd have the most passionate arguments, make up, and then argue about who's comments was more silly during the fight. He just knew how to tick me off! But it's moments like those (and the reason I am such a True Blue Cowboys fan) that cause me to look back and smile. They are now my most cherished memories.
Family (and especially his babies), he knew that you all loved him and he loved each of you. That's the greatest gift you could have given and I pray that God will give you strength, comfort, and serenity. God blessed us with “Smudge” for just a short time, but it was still long enough for him to leave a large footprint in our hearts. Thank you all for sharing him.
Anthony, it seems that we weren't done; you are gone so soon. However, I know God is sovereign and He makes no mistakes. I thank Him for the time He gave us to share your life together. My heart aches but I'm happy that yours is at rest. Be at peace, my friend, and allow God's angels to watch over you in eternity.
