Anthony Jackson Obituary

AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. Anthony S. "Tony" Jackson, 73, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-3PM Wednesday at the St. Bartholomews Ministry Center, 471 W. Martintown Rd., North Augusta, SC. Tony was born in Rockford, Illinois February 29, 1940 and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. He then served in the United States Army. After six years of service in the US Army, Tony enjoyed a lengthy career in the computer industry, ending with the ownership of ASJ Support Services, Inc., a computer technology and support business located in Melbourne, Florida. Once retired from the computer field, he volunteered for Habitat for Humanity then ventured into residential construction in Aiken, SC. He finished his career an owner of Aiken Limousine and Transportation, which served the Aiken/Augusta area for over twelve years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Adams Jackson; a son, Wayne Carl Jackson, NJ; daughters, Anne Marie Hickey, MD, Mary Beth Cooper, SC; step daughter, Amy Adams Spivey, SC; step son, James Berry Adams, SC; 12 loving grandchildren, sisters, Nancy Pedrick, Brownsville, VT; Suzanne Bye, Tinton Falls, NJ; brother, Daniel F. Jackson, Milltown, NJ He was predeceased by his parents, William Eugene Jackson and Ruth Fetzer Jackson, and a brother, William E. Jackson.
