Nancy, having worked with your dad back in the day of WKTM-WXTZ brings back a lot of memories and smiles. He was something else, needless to say, and I loved a good "talk" with him. My deepest sympathy to you, Bill and your family.

Condolences from your Virginia cousins. I am the grandson of Stella Nelson (Irene Nelson's sister) and am Sam and Louise (Pope) Buxton's son. I remember visiting your family in 1968 (!) on our way to Florida. My mother has always spoken so warmly of you all. May God bring you grateful hearts and healed spirits.

Mrs. Cohen, Ansley, Nancy, and Warren
and Families:
I cannot begin to tell you in a few words
how much Mr. Cohen meant to me and how he
influenced my life. Working for him was
the most educational thing I ever did.I
learned much more from him in 5 years than I did at The College of Charleston for 4 years in later years. He was so
smart and he made all the people who
worked for him feel smart and he also
always appreciated us and had a way
about him few men I have worked for ever
possess. I still remember all the client-
employee Christmas parties he had and he
never failed to include us in any of the
promotions he ran, he let us share in the
benefits of "trading"...you will all know
what that was about.
I was there when Ansley got married and
went in service, when Warren was in High
School and I had just left when Nancy
and Bill got married and also attended
their wedding..so many memories, such
wonderful memories for me and your Dad
was at the top of my list for most
favorite employer of all time. Please
know I am in Florida all this week and
regret I cannot attend the funeral but
will have all of you in my thoughts and
prayers. He was a wonderful man with a
great sense of humor and he loved each of
you to the fullest and was so proud of
you too. Take care, God Bless you all
and let the memories continue within
each of you for this wonderful man.
Sincerely

I was with Ansley on December 6,1941. He got a new nick name that night, "THE MOLE." I have and always will miss him. He remains in my prayers.

Mary and Nancy, Ansley and Warren, I was so sad to hear this news, and feel so far away. I'll always remember Bubs' wonderful sense of humor and his brilliant smile. With love, Betsy

Ansley,
I was so upset for you when I saw the paper--I know how difficult it is to lose a father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will be thinking of you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
