Annie Kinsey Obituary

KINSEY, Annie Annie Lou Metts Kinsey, age 84, of McKay Farm Road died Tuesday, April 08, 2008 in Canton, NC. A native of Rowesville, SC, she was the daughter of Lillie Bell Metts Parker. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joseph W. Metts; one brother, George Parker and his wife, Odell Parker; and a son-in-law, Kenneth McKay. She was a homemaker and a member of Burnette Cove Baptist Church. Annie loved flowers as well as her cats and dogs. She was a wood worker and enjoyed constructing tables, chairs, and cabinets for her home. She is survived by four sons, William C. Kinsey of SC, James M. Kinsey and his wife, Sissy, of Jackson, SC, Mark K. Kinsey and his wife, Jennifer, of Texas, and Glenn Kinsey of Charleston, SC; a daughter, Pamela A. McKay of Canton; a brother, Charles Parker and his wife, Dorothy Parker, of N. Charleston, SC; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2008, with the Reverend Marty Hogue officiating. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
