Annette Mole Obituary

Annette Kinard Mole EDISTO BEACH - Annette Kinard Mole, 93, of Edisto Beach, SC, and widow of Joseph Franklin Mole, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Her funeral service will be held Friday, March 8, 2024, in the Edisto Island United Methodist Church, 8193 Palmetto Road, at 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery, Walterboro, SC, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Thursday in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm as well as Friday at the Edisto UMC immediately following the service. Annette was born August 29, 1930, in Covington, GA, a daughter of the late Robert Jackson Kinard and Maggie Lou Henderson Kinard. She was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Kinard Cason and Lucille Kinard Tomlin and brother, Bobby Reid Kinard. Annette was married to Joe for 62 years and remained faithful to that love through the rest of her days. A charter member of both Grace United Methodist Church and Edisto Island United Methodist Church, Annette used her vocal talent as soprano in the choirs of both churches, was a member of women's circles in both churches, and served as the president of the UMW at Grace UMC. In earlier years, Annette volunteered as a docent at Middleton Place for several decades; she was an enthusiastic gardener, floral arranger, golfer, and world traveler. In later years, Annette was an avid bridge player, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a participant in the Bible Study Fellowship, where she cherished her time with other women of faith. From the time of her courtship with Joe, she loved Edisto Beach and she treasured her time living there. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Mole Rotta (Steve), of Charleston, SC, and Amanda Lee Mole (Carl Fosseen), of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Cal Fosseen, Maggie Rotta, and Melanie Rotta; and her anticipated grandchildren through marriage, Gaia Davitt (Cal) and Pal Griffin (Maggie). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Edisto Island United Methodist Church, 8193 Palmetto Road, Edisto Island, SC 29438 or to Agape Care South Carolina through The Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation, http://www.hpcfoundation.org/online A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com.
