Annette Detyens Obituary

DETYENS, Annette Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 Annette Sullivan Detyens, widow of Hasford Walker Detyens, Jr. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Annette S. Detyens are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm , Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorials be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, Building Fund, 5 St. Teresa Dr., Charleston, SC 29407. Mrs. Detyens was born in Charleston a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sullivan on Saturday, July 22, 1911. She attended Bishop England High School , was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and worked for many years at the Avondale Pharmacy Mrs. Detyens was predeceased by her son, Joseph Walker Detyens, a brother Joseph Jeremiah Sullivan and a sister, Dorothy Ellen Sullivan. Surviving is her daughter-in-law, Barbara Runey Detyens of Wando, a grandson, Joseph Walker Detyens, Jr. and his wife Margaret of Richmond, VA; three granddaughters, Joan Marie Detyens of Charleston, Ann Detyens and her husband Pete Mulvey of Mt. Pleasant, Debbie Detyens Pitts and her husband Carl of Wellington, Fl; five great grandchildren, Jennifer, Carl and Christina Pitts, Madeline Detyens and Garrett Mulvey. Arrangements by JAMES A.
