Anne Spivey Obituary

Sad to hear of Anne's passing- we both worked at Roper Hospital (many years ago) when I think of Anne I smile-
She was always bright and cheerful - a real blessing
to know.

I was so sorry to hear of Anne´s passing. I worked with Anne at Roper St. Francis Hospital. We always had such fun. My deepest sympathy. Jean Clark

Anne will be missed, she had a lot of spirit. Prayers to her family.

I was so sad to hear that Anne has passed. She and her sidekick Roy were the center of our lives from the early 60´s at Murray High. We spent nearly every weekend with the Spivey´s and there was never a dull moment! The fun and laughter they added to our lives was never ending. I will be forever grateful for the wonderful time I spent with Anne, Leroy, Kyle and Jason. There isn´t one memory that doesn´t bring a smile to my face even 60 years later. Anne and Leroy were the real deal and left a lifetime of good memories for us to remember them by. I know they are together again and at peace. Farewell my good friends and thanks for a lifetime of good times.

I got to know Anne more when she came to St. Francis to work. She brought life to the department and made it a joy to come to work. She loved shopping at the gift shop and had to run down stating that she smelled styrofoam, which meant new items were in. She was our Paula Deen of the office as she loved to share her dishes with us. My heart goes out to you all and I know she loved her boys!

Your Momma was one in a million! She loved your Dad and y´all so very much...that includes Butchie, Herbert, Dixie, Marguerita and Sofie too. I will always count myself lucky to be a friend of hers and will remember her with a smile always.

Jason, Jaime and Kyle, I have just learned about your mother and cannot believe she is gone. Toby and I had so many years of fun with your mom and dad. So many parties and so much laughter. I will always cherish those memories. Ann was a dear friend and I send all of you my heartfelt condolences.

Doing Anne's hair for so many years, we shared laughter, a lot of memories and a friendship that will last a lifetime. Kyle, Jason, and Jamie you were shining light. May the memories you cherish be never forgotten.

So many people were so very fortunate to have known Anne during their lifetime. She was a special and unique individual and there will be no other like her.

One of the most caring people in the world. Many great memories of a great person.
