Anne Ladson Obituary

LADSON, Anne The funeral for Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Ladson will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday morning, August 20, 2005, at SHULER-MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 1235 Unity Road, Holly Hill, SC. The Reverend Telly L. Gadson, officiating. Burial will be in the Belvedere Cemetery in Eutawville, SC. Anne was the youngest of six children born to the late Henry Ladson and Julia Dingle Ladson of Charleston, SC. She was a 1962 graduate of Burke High School. She moved to New York where she was employed at various jobs over the years. She was the "Mother Theresa" of her family and was caretaker for many family members. Her survivors include a daughter, Julita Porcher; two granddaughters, Arjale Arrington and Ashley Arrington; two brothers, Henry Ladson and Julius (Harridell) Ladson; four nieces; three nephews, aunts, uncles, grandnieces and nephews, special cousins, other relatives and friends.
