Anne was a very thoughtful person. She would always ask how my children were doing. Such a caring person. She loved her family so very much. Each of you were blessed to have her as your mother, grandmother, and sister. I was blessed to have her as my friend. Thinking of you all during this time. Hugs

Dear Family,

I have so many memories of the Umphlett family, and the Keys family. I played and road horses with Susan and Michael, in the Cordesville woods, many weekends in our younger years. Anne was the oldest girl, so she was not around as much, but I did get to know her better at the river house, in later years, when she, Bill, Kearney, and Cassie would visit my father and Phyllis. As many have commented, her kindness is what I will always remember most. Her daughters and grandchildren appear to exemplify those values. I have been admiring for a couple of years now how much all of them have honored their mother in sickness and in death. I am very sorry for the loss of your mother, sister, and grandmother.

Sincerely,
Frances

Kearney & Kassie & Family, I want to express to ya'll what a blessing it has been living next door to your Mom & Dad. Your Mom made us feel so welcome from the moment we first moved in. They both came over & introduced themselves & then invited us over for dinner. Through the yrs we have shared a lot of memories good & bad, but every time I saw your Mom she had a wonderful smile & always asking about the family. God blessed us by giving us such precious neighbors. No matter if anyone else lives there in the future, to us it will always be The Keys house. I will continue lifting your family up in prayer.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Keys passing. She was my kindergarten teacher and was a wonderful mentor for me. I always thought it was so special that she remembered me years later after graduation. I so enjoyed seeing her around Moncks Corner and at the craft fairs over the years. She was a special lady and will be dearly missed.
