GERBER, Anne WALTERBORO - Mrs. Anna "Anne" Marie Gerber, 85, of 1714 Three Mile Road, Walterboro, died Wednesday morning, June 29, 2005, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. Funeral services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday morning, July 2, 2005, in The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Doctor's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Walterboro. Mrs. Gerber was born August 18, 1919 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a daughter of the late John and Anna McGinnis Martin. She retired from the production division of Sandell Packing Company in Sandell, Delaware, and was a member of the Doctor's Creek Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Walterboro Red Hat Society and was formerly married to Norman Gerber of Clayton, New Jersey. Surviving are: two sons, Glenn Gerber of Walterboro and Theodore Herman Brown, III of Ocean City, New Jersey; four daughters, Deborah Compton and her husband Daniel of Walterboro, Helen Pacrilla of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Delores Martin of Henderson, Maryland, and Loraine Reed of Mount Vernon, Ohio; her grandchildren, Danielle Compton and Thomas Compton, as well as several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Gorgoretti. Family and friends are invited to call from 6:00 until 8:00 Friday evening at THE BRICE W.
