Anne Bolt Obituary

Anne G. Bolt MT. PLEASANT - Anne Grainger Bolt of Mt. Pleasant, SC (formerly of Charleston, Greenwood, and Cross Hill, SC) entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. She was the widow of Jack Owings Bolt, Sr. and was preceded in death by her parents, James B. and Josephine E. Grainger of Laurens, SC, and two sisters Muriel G. Strichik and Helen G. Thomas. She is survived by a daughter, Jodi B. Schultz (Bryan) of Mt. Pleasant and a son, Jack Owings (Pete) Bolt, Jr. (Debra) of Rock Hill, SC, grandchildren Savannah Schultz of Spartanburg, SC, Samantha Bolt of Myrtle Beach, SC and Lydon Schultz of Mt. Pleasant and Oneonta, NY, sister Edna Grainger of Clinton, SC, sisters-in-law Barbara B. Cudd of Greenville, SC and Jean B. Mims of Laurens, SC, six nieces and three nephews and their families. Mrs. Bolt was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Charleston, SC and First Presbyterian Church, Greenwood, SC. She was employed as a house parent at Epworth Children's Home in Columbia, SC for 14 years prior to her retirement in 1998. A private celebration of life and memorial service will be held later. Arrangements by Palmetto Cremation Society. Memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Hospice, 1885 Rifle Range Rd, Ste 46, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 or East Cooper Meals on Wheels, PO Box 583, Mt.
