Annabell Wittrell Benson Johns Island - The relatives and friends of Mrs. Annabell Wittrell Benson are invited to attend her Graveside Service 11:00 AM, Friday, June 18, 2021 at St. Stephens African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery, 2840 Maybank Highway, Johns Island, SC. A public viewing will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the mortuary. Mrs. Benson leaves to cherish her precious memories and celebrate her life: her children, Anna Louise (Issac, deceased) Hamiliton, Maria B. (James) Owens, Willie (LaVerne, deceased) Benson, Viola B. (Melvin) Wilson, Doris Williams, twins, James (Cathy) Benson & Eugene (Carolyn, deceased) Benson, Theresa (Esnell) Drayton, Donald Benson, and two adopted daughters, Paula Moore and Danyel Fontaine; siblings, Elijah (Marylease, deceased) Wittrell, James (Gloria) Wittrell, Marie (James) Middleton, Lucille (Julius, Sr.) Nelson, Martha Ann (Abraham, Sr.) Brown, Albertha Wittrell, and siblings that preceded her in death, Evelyn (Dan) Lowry, Samuel (Ruth) Wittrell, Ruby Mae (George) Hunter, and Leroy (Annalee) Wittrell; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren; her special friend, Ms. Mary Ella Grant, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn her loss.
