Anna Marie Walker Summerville - Anna Marie Walker, 95, of Summerville, wife of the late James E. Walker, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at her residence. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 10 o'clock to 11 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be begin at 12 o'clock at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John the Beloved Catholic Church. Anna Marie was born on July 6, 1926 in Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Mika. She was married to James Walker on February 24, 1948 the mother of five children. Anna Marie was also a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, St. Johns Women's Club, she was a money counter and Eucharistic Minister. Survivors include five children: James Walker, Jr. (Joyce) of Riverbank, California, Patty Jo Dennison (Skip) of Summerville, Judith Ann Rasmussen (Brad) of Highland, Indiana, Dennis L. Walker (Gail) of Hammond, Indiana and Lori Beard (Austin) of Georgetown; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; caregivers: Angie Mishoe and daughter, Amanda. She is predeceased by her parents Michael and Anna Mika and siblings Mike Mika, George Mika, John Mika and Helen Baker.
