Anna SUTTON Obituary
Anna Belle was born on June 22, 1927, in Snow Hill, N.C., and was a longtime member of Parkview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Claudia Mozingo; four brothers; one sister; and grandson, Matthew Sutton.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, N. Carl Sutton; sons, Greg and wife, Lynne of Suffolk, Jay and wife, Cyndi of Williamsburg; grandsons, Scott and wife, Stacey of Oregon, Wis., Nicholas of Virginia Beach; granddaughters, Kristi of Hampton, Josi Colley and husband, Chris of Annapolis, Md.; great great-grandsons, Grayson and Jackson Sutton of Oregon, Wis.; sister, Addie Griffin; and many wonderful relatives, nieces and nephews.
Anna Belle will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and laugh. Her love for all her family was endless. She was happy in her garden or making wonderful meals in the kitchen for family, friends, or the women in her circle at Parkview Baptist.
The family would like to extend their appreciation for the wonderful care Anna Belle received at Eden Court and through Heartland Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in her honor to Parkview Baptist Church, 604 Hilton Blvd., Newport News, VA 23604.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight, Aug. 5, 2011, at Peninsula Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Peninsula Memorial Park, with the Rev. Rusty Beck officiating.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Annabelle. She was such a sweet lady and always had a kind word for everyone. You know I would've been there if I were still living on the peninsula! So sorry for your loss and hope the many wonderful memories will help ease each of you through this difficult time.

Aunt Anna Belle is greatly loved by our family. She was beautiful and blessed with a most pleasant, kind, and gentle manner, and I named my daughter Anna for her. May her soul rest safe in God's eternal love.
Our thoughts are with you all Uncle Carl, Greg and Lynne, Jay and Cindy, and grandchildren.

"Her love was endless" What a wonderful epitaph. I'm sure she is in glory, enjoying the fruits of her well lived life. What a wonderful example she set for all.
