Anna Ondick Obituary

ONDICK, Anna Anna Frances Ondick, 69, of Goose Creek, the wife of Joe Ondick, died Monday, March 7, 2005 at her home. Born April 19, 1935 in Sarasota, Florida, the daughter of Edgar Thomas Drymon and Mary Ellen Hawkins Drymon. Anna enjoyed collecting antiques, making crafts, flower arranging and was an avid reader. She was of the Baptist faith. Anna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Joe; five daughters: Susan Susie Phillips (Burton), Hammond, LA; Mary Ellen Duke Underwood (Pete) of Charlotte Hall, MD; Cynthia Jo Cindy Brown (Cliff) Thompson of Goose Creek; JoAnn Jay Ondick of Goose Creek; Mary Alice May Ondick (Eddie) Keafer of Odenton, MD; a sister: Mary Alice Skeeter Derby (Thomas) of Leesburg, VA; ten grandchildren: Melissa Sa Sa Phil , Joseph Burton J.B. , William Willie ,. Jeffrey, Anna, Amy Amer , Ellen, Bridgette, Ashley and Joey; nine great-grandchildren: Troy, Destiny, Nate Nater , Cody Co Co , Jeremiah Miah , Elizabeth, Maci, Patience and Alexis Lex ; niece: Frances Marie McClintock; nephew: Harry Benny Bentrup III and her devoted dogs: Jo Jo, Anna and Trigger. She was preceded in death by her two step-brothers: Brandt Cecil Drymon and Junie Drymon. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon TODAY, Saturday, March 12th in the chapel of McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., (Hwy 52) Goose Creek. Entombment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Old Hwy 52, Moncks Corner. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 4248 Dorchester Road, N. Charleston, SC 29405 or the Doc Williams SPCA, 109 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Condolences may be sent via www.mcalister-smith.com Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.
