I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Anna when I first moved to Savannah and she was among the first to make me feel welcomed. Her laughter, her humour, her zest for life made her a very special person. May she rest in peace; she will always be remembered by her many friends.

Troy and I were so saddened by the news of your mom, I just found out and was just in shock! I loved her like she was one of my own family! Not only was it a pleasure to be her hygienist, but I cherished each time that I was able to see her. I have always gotten close to my patients, maybe to a fault, but I feel like they make my purpose as a healthcare professional worth it! Your mom was such a blessing and I loved her sayings and loved her awesome sense of humor. She loved you both so much, and always said how proud she was of you both! I was so honored to know your mom as a patient, but I am much more grateful to say that she was my FRIEND!! May GOD hold you both during this time, and give you every memory of Ms. Anna's sweet smile in everything you both see and do. I had the pleasure of working many years with Anna at the Charleston VA. As Agent Cashier, Anna worked with VA staff and patients. She consistently demonstrated the highest level of professionalism. "Anna from Savannah" is certainly going to be missed and remembered by many of us. We have so very many fond memories of our growing up days in Savannah. She was a dear, sweet person with a one of a kind personality. Once you met her, you could never forget her. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife and mother. I was the CFO at the VA from 1988-1990. Anna was one of my favorite people. She loved everybody and everybody loved her even more. I have fond memories of Anna - the fondest is BAKLAVA!!!!!
