The relatives and friends of Mrs. Anna Mae Simmons Alston are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service 1:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Vanderhorst Memorial CME Church, 66 Hanover Street, Charleston, SC. Interment - Johnson Cemetery, 7136 Stall Road, North Charleston, SC. A public viewing will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the mortuary. Mrs. Simmons leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Deacon Clifford (Barbara) Alston of Atlantic City, NJ, Miriam McMillian of Charleston, SC, Clarissa (Robert) Richardson of Summerville, SC, Annette Carson of Summerville, SC, Mamie (David) Cooper of Ladson, SC, and Dadisi "Marvin" Netifnet of Houston, TX; sister, Grace (Felix) Christian of North Charleston, SC; cousin, Hakim Abdul Ali of North Charleston, SC; daughter-in-law, Reverend Betty Alston of North Charleston, SC; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
