Ann Fontana Obituary

Ann Fontana FranKLIN, TN - Ann Vivona Fontana, 88, died in Franklin, Tennessee on Monday, November 23, 2015. Ann was the only sister of the five Vivona Brothers, owners of Amusements of America. She was born the daughter of the late Antonio Vivona and Catherine Rose Vivona in Newark, New Jersey March 6, 1927. She and her late husband, Matthew (Matt) Fontana lived in Metuchen, New Jersey, Kentucky, Florida, and recently Tennessee. Ann graduated from Saint Elizabeth's College in Morristown, New Jersey. She was a grade school teacher for many years. Her hobby was needle work, making several beautiful pictures in cross stich and needle point. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Fontana is predeceased by two brothers, John Vivona and Sebastian (Babe) Vivona, and sisters-in-law, Adeline, Maddalena, Carol, Marie, and Ethel Vivona. She is survived by her three children, Matthew Fontana (Theresa) of Franklin; Patricia Fontana Narell (Jeff) of Oakland, California; Dennise Fontana Ricci (Richard) of Westfield, New Jersey; grandchildren, Matthew Fontana (Aksana), Maria Fontana Clark (Eric), Alexandra Fontana Gull (Josh), Dominic Fontana (Kelly), Dr. Angela Ricci Loeb (Brian), Lue Ricci, Christa Ricci, Drio Narell, Ellie Narell; a great-grandson, Raphael Loeb and four great-granddaughters, Tahlia Clark, Avery Gull, Lola Fontana, and Sonia Fontana; three brothers, Morris Vivona, Sr., Dominic Vivona (Helen McKay Vivona), and Philip Vivona (Jane Baxter Vivona); many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ The King Catholic Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Arrangements by Marshall-Donnelly-Combs, (615) 327-1111.
