To the family of Ann Fender, I quilted with Anne @ Indian Field on Tuesdays. She started making embroidery labels (with her new machine) for each of us to put on our quilts with the date and club name and any other information we wanted. Most recently she made one for the wedding quilt we all quilted together and I gave to my son and his wife on August 29th for their wedding gift. Anne made a special trip to give me that label, it was the last time I saw her. I will always think of her whenever I look at my quilts and the quilts in the homes of my family. She was a very kind and generous person. We have missed her very much at quilting and will continue to feel her loss at the table for a long time. Even with the grief associated with her passing, we take comfort in the fact that she will no longer experience pain but the loving embrace of our Father's arms. I pray that God will comfort each and everyone of you through the next few days and in all the days to come.
