Angela Woodby Obituary

Angela Marie Woodby HANAHAN - Angela Marie Woodby, 64, wife of Blaine L. Woodby, of Hanahan, SC, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012. Born July 3, 1947, in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of William Enter and Eloise Cope Enter. She was a retired clerk with the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to retiring, she held positions at the Chas. Naval Shipyard as a Supply Clerk, was a secretary with Homeland Security and a secretary for the Chemistry Dept. at the Citadel. Angela is survived by her husband of 20 years, Blaine L. Woodby of Hanahan, SC; two daughters, Sherri Concannon of Chesapeake, VA and Jennifer O. Cady of Chester, VA; one step-son, Mark Woodby of Indian Springs, NY; step-daughter, Kathy Avant of Savannah, GA; brother, Bill Enter of Golden, CO; sister, Judy Moody of Summerville, SC; ten grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Rachel, and Hannah Concannon, Isabella Cady, Tyler and Brittany Woodby, Russell, Adam and Victoria Avant. The funeral service will be held at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Entombment, Carolina Memorial Gardens. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406. I am deeply sorry to hear of Angela's passing I loved her like a sister. My love and prayers go out to all the family. She was a wonderful person and a great cousin I asure you she will be missed alot. Please forgive me for not attending the services, I have to work and not able to get off.

A former classmate from St. John's and BEHS...Angela was sweet and likeable. I remember birthday parties at her house on Reddin Road. So many memories are flooding my mind now. My condolences to all of her family. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.
