Angela Tyler-Rockey Obituary

Angela Dawn Tyler-Rockey CHARLESTON - Angela Dawn Tyler-Rockey, 51, of Charleston, SC, formerly of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. She was the youngest child of Aileen and the late Frank Tyler. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mark, her three children, Kristen, Markie, Chapin, stepdaughter Angela, and a number of other family and friends. Dawn spent most of her adult life being an advocate that actively worked to implement therapies for children with autism into local schools. She enjoyed the beach, gardening, cooking, and frequent trips to her hometown. The memorial service will be at the Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church in Charleston on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 11 am. Family will receive guests one hour prior. The graveside service will be on the following day at the Ocean Woods Cemetery in Myrtle Beach at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lowcountry Autism Foundation.
